"She was a junkie for the written word; lucky for me, I manufactured her drug of choice."

Good news and bad news... first the good news:
- I heard MercyMe's "I Can Only Imagine" [dirty uncut mix] on two radio stations in my area. That means the name "Jesus" is being brought to radio alongside such timeless favorites as "Bentley," "ho" and "Cris" [as in, "pop tha Cris"]. Praise the Lamb! I about ran off the road when the piano intro struck. I also heard the song played on a satellite station while waiting for The Matrix:Reloaded sneak showing in Indy Wednesday nite. Whoa! [said in Joey-from-Blossom voice.] But yes, the song airs UNcut, meaning His Name is being said on pop stations all across this nation. I mean, Fort Wayne, South Bend and Warsaw are always last to get singles new to radio, so it must be well received across the country.
As for the bad news, which I now realize is so totally usurped by the good news there...
- I have a cavity, albeit a small, easily repairable one... but a cavity nonetheless. My dentist even gave me the digitalized photo of it from his gadgetry in the office to hang on the fridge at home. What spite. So now this, coming from a man who brushes his teeth at least thrice daily and for about 20 minutes at each event [yes, they are events]. I've always acclaimed myself for never having a cavity. Well, Shaniqua don't live here no mo'. Actually, it was an uppercut to my pride in my whites, and disheartening, but...
praise God: I'm about $800 away from my goal of $2300 for summer project in Traverse City, Michigan, beginning June 14. I see the light at the end of this tunnel and, well, just wanted to finish by recording some good news there.
